Surprise Surprise

The November Congressional elections approach, and wouldn't you know it, the Bush administration is starting to once again reveal terror plots that the government has foiled!

I'm guessing we will hear and see more terror plots either unfolding or being foiled by our government, to highlight just how "good" the Bush administration and Republicans are doing at the 'war on terror.'

Well, if you really look at it, we are always pretty close to an election.

But I agree with you. President Bush and the Republicans are doing a very poor job on fighting terror.

thanks for stopping by, ashiningcity. In an earlier post, I talked about Republicans continually relating their current 'war on terror' with that of World War II. But if we look at a comparison of the two, it took Roosevelt and his administration three and a half years to fundamentally and completely alter the face of the earth by resoundingly defeating two super powers in Germany and Japan. The Bush administration is going after cave dwellers, and is now into his fifth year of this war. Yet just today we are told of this plot (the timing of this information being released stinks of politics, I don't care if it came from Britain), Lebanon and Israel are at war, Iraq is a bloodbath, and Iran is strengthening in power and influence.

Five years and not an end in sight to Bush's beloved 'war on terror.'

Three and a half years to end a full scale world war.
