To Win Bush Can Always Fall Back on Lowering Gas Prices

That seems to be the thought over on Andrew Sullivan's blog by guest bloggers. Bush's numbers go up and down according to gas prices, so why not pressure oil companies (he knows them personally anways), and get them to lower the prices. After all, Exxon, Mobil, BP, and the rest, all have made record profits under a Bush administration. They can make a little sacrifice for him in return. What do you think? Will gas prices go below $2 before November? I personally wouldn't put it past oil companies to lower prices by that much to keep their man in office.....
